@Bunratty: The camera elf takes pictures of randomly occurring events and has them mailed to the participants in a large manila envelope, everyone knows this. Sometimes he/she even follows up with a phone call and a weird frog in his throat that makes his/her voice sound weird and makes it sound like he/she's asking for money.
